Job Summary
2nd Shift Sewers (Capper, Gusset, Ribbon) at Serta Simmons Bedding is responsible for assembling panels and borders on mattress components using various sewing machines, attaching borders to panels, overcasting edges, reading production tickets, and documenting work. You will operate sewing machines, move and sort materials, record sizes, and maintain a clean, safe workstation. Basic machine maintenance, measuring with a ruler, and performing simple math are part of daily tasks. Must be 18+, with a high school diploma or GED preferred, and prior sewing experience and familiarity with industrial sewing equipment are a plus. The role offers a 3:30pm–12:00am shift with a base pay of $21/hour plus a $2/hour second shift differential, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
