Job Summary
Conduct regular quality assessments on incoming materials and finished products by verifying specifications through visual and measurement tests. Reject non-conforming items, approve compliant goods after re-work confirmation, and document all inspection outcomes on ACSI forms. Resolve quality-related issues promptly while reading blueprints and shop drawings to ensure products meet standards. Maintain a safe work environment by following company procedures and complying with legal requirements. Perform other tasks as assigned by a supervisor or manager as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED or Higher
- English Communication Skills- Written, Verbal, Interpersonal, and Phone
- Ability to think analytically, with a focus on quality and detail
- A flexible and strong team player that can work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be computer literate (Word, Excel)
- Read & Understand: tape measure, calipers, Engineering Drawings, weld symbols, and general shop testing equipment
- Visual weld inspection a plus but not required
Desired Qualifications
- One to two year' quality inspection experience (Preferred but not required)
