Job Summary
Monitor product and procedures to assure company, customer, and government specifications are met or make corrective actions. Monitor compliance with HACCP programs and communicate with customers, management, and sales regarding quality issues to ensure plant compliance. Establish working relationships with production supervision and USDA personnel while training and supervising QA Technicians on your shift. Ensure the safety and motivation of all team members. Requires two years of experience in a poultry processing environment with preferred QA, HACCP, and food safety knowledge. Full-time 2nd shift position with competitive compensation.
Required Qualifications
- High School or GED
- Two years experience in a poultry processing environment
Desired Qualifications
- Two or Four Year College Degree
- QA, HACCP and Food Safety experience
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Good follow-up and employee relations skills
- Computer skills to include Microsoft Office Suite Programs (Outlook, Word, Excel)
