Job Summary
Enforce all food safety policies and procedures, including GMP, SSOP, and HACCP programs, while monitoring production conditions to verify that products meet specifications. Stop production immediately when food safety concerns arise or specifications are not being met. Complete required documentation and Redzone checks, then communicate potential issues to management in a timely manner. This 2nd shift position runs Monday through Friday starting at 2:00pm, with shifts averaging 8–12 hours per day and occasional Saturday work. Starting pay is $18.50 per hour plus a $3 per hour shift differential, eligible for attendance and year-end bonuses. Candidates must have 3 years of relevant experience in a regulated production environment, an understanding of HACCP, and experience using an ERP or MES.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years of relevant experience in a regulated production or manufacturing environment
- An understanding of HACCP
- Respect and adherence for all food safety policies and procedures
- Experience using an ERP or Manufacturing Execution System (MES)
- Ability to communicate effectively with management, peers, and other departments
- A strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to work in a refrigerated production environment
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 lbs
- Ability to use a variety of hand tools and equipment
- This is a 2nd shift position
- Monday through Friday schedule
- Shifts beginning at 2:00pm
- Averaging 8–12 hours per day
- Occasional Saturday work
