Job Summary
Monitor product and procedures to assure company, customer, and government specifications are met or surpassed while making corrective actions. Monitor compliance with HACCP programs and communicate with customers, management, and sales regarding quality issues. Establish working relationships with production supervision and USDA personnel. Train and supervise QA Technicians on their respective shift and ensure the safety and motivation of all team members. Requires two years of experience in a poultry processing environment with preferred QA and HACCP knowledge. Full-time second shift position at Pilgrim's in a safety-focused facility.
Required Qualifications
- High School or GED
- Two years experience in a poultry processing environment
Desired Qualifications
- Two or Four Year College Degree
- QA, HACCP and Food Safety experience
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Good follow-up and employee relations skills
- Computer skills to include Microsoft Office Suite Programs (Outlook, Word, Excel)
