Job Summary
The Production Supervisor will manage day-to-day manufacturing activities on the 2nd shift to achieve productivity goals. Key duties include leading the production team, implementing safety standards, coaching employees, managing performance, and executing the production schedule. The role demands knowledge of Lean processes, skillset training, and effective communication at all levels. A Bachelor’s degree and significant supervision experience in manufacturing are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Four to ten years’ related experience and/or training
- Minimum of three years of direct supervisory experience
- Demonstrated experience working hands-on in a manufacturing production environment
Desired Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Proficient in Microsoft Suites and Statistical Analysis
- SAP applications and other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) utilization
- Proven facility and leadership
- Labor relations and negotiation
- Knowledge of arithmetic, 'Lean' concepts, Lean Six Sigma, ISO procedures, and their applications
