2nd Shift Production Supervisor

Job Summary
Manage production activities, including scheduling, resource planning, and delivery performance, while driving continuous improvement through Lean Manufacturing and 5S initiatives. Resolve quality issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective measures to ensure product standards. Lead a team of operators, lead-hands, and master crafters by mentoring staff, ensuring training, and conducting performance evaluations. Monitor safety concerns, enforce work instructions, and handle grievances professionally. Oversee daily shop clean-up and preventive maintenance actions. Requires 3–5 years of supervision experience in a high-volume environment, proficiency in MS Office, and bilingual Spanish skills. Full-time 2nd shift role in Winder, Georgia.
Required Qualifications
- College Degree or High School with 5 years of experience
- 3 – 5 years of supervision role with a proven track record in a high volume, multi-product environment
- Experience in Lean Manufacturing
- Proficient in MS Office
- Ability to work effectively in a multitasking environment and work constructively under pressure
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
- Exceptional leadership skills with a sense of urgency and strong aptitude
- Ability to create accountability and lead by example
- Ability to make sound and timely decisions
- Ability to develop, maintain and motivate a strong team
- Ability to work with minimum supervision
- Must be organized and detail oriented
- Ability to solve practical problems and difficult situations
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
Desired Qualifications
- Preferably in sheet metal and HVAC
- Comfortable in a team oriented environment
- Bilingual in Spanish is highly preferre
