2nd Shift Production Supervisor

Job Summary
Lead and manage daily operations on the 2nd shift in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. Oversee safety, quality, productivity, and performance of the shift, directing a team of hourly employees and coordinating with cross-functional teams to achieve production goals. Maintain hands-on leadership on the production floor, make sound decisions, coach and develop team members, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and improve operational efficiency. Ensure accurate production documentation and compliance with company policies; support employee development and succession planning; partner with Safety, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, and other departments to resolve issues and elevate performance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, or a related field preferred
- 5–7+ years of manufacturing leadership or supervisory experience
- Experience leading teams in a production-driven manufacturing environment
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills
- Experience working within a union manufacturing environment preferred
- Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, and operational metrics
- Bonus: CPI, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma certification
