Job Summary
The Assembly Production Supervisor oversees plant-level operations to ensure Safety, Quality, Delivery and production efficiencies meet internal and external customer standards. Responsibilities include coaching and assisting employees with problem solving, training team members on processes and tasks, certifying team members on workstation progression, ensuring quality and timely delivery, incident reporting and root-cause investigations, monitoring attendance, maintaining production boards and performance metrics, coordinating with support groups to restore standard processes, directing team leaders and operators, conducting toolbox talks, and ensuring traceability and containment of nonconforming material. This is a 2nd Shift role (4pm–2:30am, M-Th) at the Northlake, TX plant; occasional overtime or weekend work may be required to meet customer needs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
- 3+ years’ experience in a supervisory role
- Automotive manufacturing industry experience preferred
- Must be physically capable of performing the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation
