Job Summary
Oversee production planning, scheduling, and material management during the 2nd shift to meet shift objectives. Monitor activities to prevent schedule deviations and balance labor costs with machine requirements. Directly supervise assigned staff, driving motivation and development to optimize performance. Manage routine housekeeping and execute any additional tasks assigned by the Plant Manager. Requires comprehensive product knowledge, strong leadership skills, and a minimum of three years in a manufacturing environment. Schedule runs Monday-Friday from 5:00pm to 1:00am with flexibility required.
Required Qualifications
- Comprehensive knowledge of product production
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work with minimum supervision - self starter
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Graduation from High School; including or supplemented by vocational training
- Minimum three (3) years employment in a manufacturing environment
- Periods of intense physical exertion in conditions of low to high temperatures and humidity
- Ability to stand, bend, and stretch over extended periods of time during a normal work shift
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Flexibility - schedule is subject to change based on production needs
