Job Summary
As a 2nd Shift Production Operator, you will assemble electromechanical products using manufacturing documentation and tooling, operate machines and hand tools to prepare components, and complete final motor assembly and testing. Key responsibilities include applying varnish and glue, loading and monitoring automated machinery, and preparing final assemblies. Required skills include mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, and physical capability to sit or stand for long periods, lift weights, and perform tasks involving dexterity and mobility.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to understand and apply all verbal, written and computer work instructions or training in English
- Demonstrated ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
- Mechanical Aptitude
- Experience soldering or able to become certified
- Good eyesight with the ability to distinguish colors
- Good hand dexterity/range of motion
- Able to lift 20 lbs. frequently and up to 40 lbs. occasionally
- Ability to work with and around magnets that have a strong electromagnetic field
