Job Summary
2nd Shift Production Operator at Hoosier Racing Tire in Plymouth, IN. General duties include measuring material length, width, and quality to ensure product specs are met; reading specifications, using hand tools and gauging devices to monitor product quality; reacting quickly to equipment downtime and notifying team lead; keeping work areas neat and safe; following standard practices to achieve quality and quantity production; adhering to plant safety and environmental policies. Roles available include Band Builder, Calendar Operator, Mixing Operator, Final Finish Operator, and Press Operator, with overtime and training for various positions. Must be able to work a 3 pm–11 pm or 4 pm–12 am schedule, stand for long periods, and lift 20–75 lbs (up to 100 lbs occasionally). Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required, and relocation assistance is not offered.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to follow instructions written in standard English
- Must be able to work overtime
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to bend, climb, squat, crawl, reach and twist frequently
- Ability to lift 20-75 lbs. frequently and occasionally up to 100 lbs.
