Job Summary
Direct assigned work activities, instruct employees on production tasks, and maintain close tracking of work in progress while communicating with co-workers and supervisors. Perform your regular job function and duties as a production operator, provide cross-training and explain tool usage to new personnel, and ensure operating efficiencies and production flow remain on schedule. Report equipment defects, accidents, or injuries promptly, maintain a clean work area, and comply with all safety rules and company policies. Assist in corrective actions and audits as requested, take ownership of KPIs, and perform any other duties instructed by the department manager.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in a production environment
- Strong organization skills, detail-oriented, and exceptional follow through
- Must be able to effectively communicate effectively orally and in writing
- Must have basic knowledge of chart and graph interpretation
- Knowledge of production equipment and work flow process
- Demonstrated leadership experience in a manufacturing/production environment
- Have the ability to assist and lead others
- Able to understand instructions and safety procedures
- Must have good attendance and no verbal/written warning within past year
- Must be able to operate in a drug-free workplace
- Must be a citizen of the United States, or a person who has been accorded the privilege of residing permanently in the United States as an immigrant in accordance with the immigration laws
