Job Summary
Conduct daily one-on-one training sessions with new hires to teach safety procedures, GMP standards, machine operations, and proper PPE usage. Meet with new employees after breaks to address concerns, verify equipment readiness, and advocate for their onboarding needs. Assess training effectiveness by reporting daily progress, rating skill sets, and monitoring attendance and safety awareness. Analyze training gaps to develop targeted plans and facilitate annual Alchemy trainings and cross-functional certifications. Remain with new hires until they achieve proficiency and earn their white hard hats.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrate proper knife use (when and how to sharpen a blade)
- Experience in meat process at least 1 year
- Ability to work in a noisy, cold area
