Job Summary
Operate tools and equipment to assemble aerospace lighting and panels while following detailed work instructions and blueprints. Perform quality checks to meet aerospace standards and maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace. Collaborate with the team to solve problems, contribute to continuous improvement efforts, and use basic computer systems to track production and document tasks. Join a global aerospace organization in East Aurora, NY, working a 2nd shift rotation with every other Friday off.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence
- 2nd shift availability: Mon-Thurs. 3:15PM-12:45PM, Friday 2:15PM-10:45PM (Every other Friday off)
- Authorization to access items subject to U.S. export-control laws
- Ability to successfully pass a drug test and background check
- Physical ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands and arms to pull handles and push buttons and reach objects
- Physical ability to perform repetitive motions, climbing, balancing, stooping, bending, reaching, kneeling, crouching or crawling
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds
