Job Summary
2nd Shift Press Operator SF: Operate and set up the printing press, ensure product quality and safety, train new employees, follow GMPs and safety procedures, read production orders, perform quality checks, maintain press area, and assist with setup for subsequent jobs. Requires color discernment, physical strength, mechanical aptitude, reading a tape measure, basic math, and strong communication with supervision and shift teams.

- Must be agile (bending, stooping, squatting, climbing)
- Reflexes in excellent condition for quick response on moving machinery
- Must have sense of smell
- Must have good hearing
- Must be able to comprehend and follow detailed instructions
- Must be able to record information electronically
- Must have maturity and disposition to operate press safely
- Must understand and implement safety procedures
- Must follow safety procedures (E-stop)
- Must have physical strength to stand for lengthy periods
- Must interact with quality control or management to maintain quality
- Must examine plate quality
