Job Summary
Execute high-quality TIG and MIG welds on custom fabrications, structural components, and prototypes for medical, printing, and packaging applications. Interpret complex engineering blueprints and structural weld symbols to ensure part accuracy. Dial in equipment parameters and gas mixtures to meet ISO 9001:2015 quality standards. Measure, position, and align sheet metal assemblies before welding. Safely utilize overhead bridge cranes and forklifts to transport large weldments. Collaborate with experienced fabricators to resolve design challenges and optimize custom job runs. Work the 2nd shift (3:30 PM – 2:00 AM) on a 4-day week.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional TIG and MIG welding experience
- advanced blueprint and weld symbol literacy
- US Citizen or Green Card holder
- residing within a comfortable daily commuting distance of Jackson / West Bend, WI
- 5+ years of hands-on TIG and MIG welding experience in a custom metal fabrication environment
- 5+ years of experience reading complex blueprints
- accurately interpreting structural weld symbols
- Capability to lift up to 50 lbs
- prior experience operating overhead bridge cranes and forklifts
- A rock-solid work history showing exceptional daily punctuality
