Job Summary
Precision Brake Operator Level 1 responsible for forming metal stock on an industrial press brake by reading blueprints and ensuring correct machine and die settings. Responsibilities include delivering correct material to the work center, ensuring the machine functions properly, delivering nesting programs that match prints, applying correct gas, speed, and consumables, accurately projecting completion of work orders, staging jobs correctly, maintaining a clean work environment, and notifying supervision of issues. The role requires ability to lift up to 100lbs, stand for extended periods, and operate in a fabrication/shop environment. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred; field-based responsibilities in a manufacturing setting with no supervisory duties.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years with Press Brake operation
- Ability to read and understand prints
- Ability to read and understand measuring devices
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferably
