Job Summary
2nd Shift Plant Manager responsible for leading safe and efficient operations across two Natrona Heights facilities during the 2nd shift. Manage production employees and departmental operations, promote a safety-first and quality-focused culture, coordinate production activities and communications across departments, troubleshoot operational, staffing, quality, and equipment issues, and support employee development through coaching and cross-functional learning. Leverage manufacturing and business systems to meet customer requirements, shipping/dock activity, and production priorities; escalate critical concerns appropriately and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and operational support functions as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of manufacturing experience
- Previous leadership, lead, or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and make sound operational decisions
- Strong technology and computer skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Flexibility to support operational needs outside standard hours when necessary
- Experience leading teams in a multi-department manufacturing environment (preferred)
- Prior experience in stamping, press operations, machining, or metal manufacturing environments (preferred)
