Job Summary
Identify and provide accurate parts for internal and external customers to ensure timely vehicle service. Receive, stock, and maintain inventory with precision, including cycle counts and proper stocking levels. Process shipments and returns, including incorrect or defective parts, ensuring vendor compliance. Control supplies to minimize waste and maintain cost efficiency. Allocate parts using CarMax systems for seamless workflow and accurate documentation. Deliver exceptional customer service through clear communication and problem-solving. Follow CarMax Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) requirements and maintain a clean and orderly work area.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read, interpret, and record data accurately for inventory and transactions
- Intermediate PC skills, including spreadsheet proficiency
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively across departments
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
- Effective verbal communication skills for customer and team interactions
- Completion of CarMax-provided training in all parts processes
