Job Summary
Operate packaging equipment on the Optix Line while maintaining proper and orderly usage consistent with company standards. Follow safety standards, report non-compliance immediately, and ensure training on Finished Product Specifications and Good Manufacturing Practices. Control lot ID item production based on the specified plan, verify production and efficiency goals, and communicate progress to supervisors. Maintain waste prevention measures, keep the area clean, and reduce product downgrades. Work the 2nd shift in a cold, slippery environment involving moving machinery, lifting up to 50 lbs, and bending.
Required Qualifications
- 6 months work history
- Must be able to read product label by numbers
- Must be able to wear, use and maintain personal protective equipment
- Must be able to follow safety policies and procedures
- Must be able to perform physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
- Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
- Must be able to stand/walk continuously (up to 4 hours before 1st break)
- Must be able to lift/carry continuously (20 – 50 lbs.)
- Must be able to perform simple/firm grasping frequently
- Must be able to bend/stoop, squat, reach above shoulder (up to 1 ft.) occasionally
- Must be willing and able to work in a cold, slippery and damp environment (28-34 degrees F)
- Must be available for 2ND SHIFT
