Job Summary
The role involves cutting, bending, fabricating, and folding sheet metal to create components used in the finished curb adapters product. Responsibilities include safely operating laser, press brake/turret machines and other fabrication tools, producing quality cuts/bends/folds per blueprints, enforcing safety rules, possible forklift operation (if certified), and performing inspections before/during/after build. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1-year experience operating laser, press brake/turret or other metal fabrication tools
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift 50 pounds frequently & 70 pounds occasionally
- Must be willing to undergo a pre-employment drug test
- Ability to safely use various measuring tools & hand, power, & pneumatic tools
- Knowledge or willingness to cross-train in other production departments
- Must be able to operate forklift, if required and certified
