Job Summary
CNC Machinist on the 2nd shift responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce high-quality parts according to specifications. Reads and interprets technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders, monitors operations, and troubleshoots issues. Performs routine inspections to verify dimensions and quality, maintains a safe work environment, documents production data, and assists with tooling changes and machine adjustments to optimize efficiency and accuracy.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as CNC Machinist or in a similar manufacturing role
- Proficiency with CNC programming and machine operation
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machine issues
- Knowledge of safety standards and best practices in manufacturing
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification is a plus
