Job Summary

Oversee 2nd shift production operations, enforcing safety protocols, quality standards, and Good Manufacturing Practices while managing hourly staff and minimizing downtime. Conduct routine safety audits, facilitate daily tiered meetings, and drive continuous improvement using Lean and TPM tools to resolve performance gaps. Lead team development through coaching, training, and one-on-one connections, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize throughput and execute line trials. Serve as the primary communication bridge between the production floor and leadership, ensuring alignment on shift objectives and escalating critical issues promptly.

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Previous supervisory experience with a proven track record of leading teams to achieve safety, quality, and operational excellence
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, coach, and develop high-performing teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization
  • Sound problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities, particularly in dynamic and fast-paced environments
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles, continuous improvement methodologies, and performance management practices
  • Technical aptitude and familiarity with manufacturing equipment and production processes including GMPs, HACCP, & SQF
  • Commitment to workplace safety through adherence to established standards, procedures, and best practices
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the manufacturing facility
  • Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 50 pounds
  • Visual acuity for reading detailed documents, viewing screens, labels, instrumentation, and analyzing data
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a manufacturing environment with elevated noise levels
  • Ability to wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE)

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field
