Job Summary
Lead and manage a 2nd shift Operations team within AirLife's temperature-controlled Distribution Center, overseeing multiple functional areas and driving operational excellence. Responsibilities include supervising up to 30 associates, evaluating performance and talent, developing short- and long-term goals, ensuring safety and compliance, coordinating with customer service, and using RF guns and warehouse technology. Requires strong communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills, with lifting up to 50 pounds and extended periods of standing. Bilingual Spanish is preferred; 3+ years DC leadership experience and an associate degree or higher are expected.
Required Qualifications
- High School Education
- AS Degree preferred
- 3+ years of distribution center experience
- 3+ years of experience leading a team
- Bilingual preferred (Spanish)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Experience with WMS, TMS and ERP systems
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
- Ability to stand and walk up to 10 hours
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to delegate workloads
- Knowledge of warehouse operations
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
