Job Summary
Perform assembly tasks by combining molded components and parts using hand tools and fixtures to create finished products. Conduct visual and functional checks of assembled items to ensure they meet quality standards, identifying and reporting any defects or deviations from specifications. Follow standard operating procedures and quality control guidelines to verify that finished products meet company specifications, while participating in quality improvement initiatives. Adhere to all safety guidelines and keep the work area clean and organized to maintain a safe environment. Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets and communicate effectively to report issues during the process.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and assembly instructions
- Proficient in using hand tools and small power tools for assembly tasks
- Strong attention to detail and quality consciousness
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and meet production targets
- Effective problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude toward process improvement
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in injection molding machine operation and assembly is preferred
- Basic understanding of injection molding processes and equipment
