Job Summary
The Material Handler will ensure smooth flow of materials in manufacturing by pulling parts from inventory, staging materials and tools, delivering supplies to designated work areas, maintaining stock levels, and operating material-handling equipment. Responsibilities include pulling parts, staging items per work orders, transporting tools, building pallets, collecting steel scrap, maintaining organized storage, stocking in-process inventory, coordinating via radio with team, performing pre-use inspections on equipment, operating forklifts/pallet jacks, identifying incorrect pallets or containers, reporting damage, maintaining cleanliness, and following safety procedures. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and experience with stock/inventory and forklift/pallet jack are a plus, along with strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
- Previous stock or inventory experience a plus
- Previous forklift or pallet jack experience a plus
- Knowledge of inventory control
- Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 40lbs)
- Data entry skills
