Job Summary
Material Handler supporting fabrication shop operations on 2nd shift (3:30pm-11pm M-F) with occasional OT. Responsibilities include loading/unloading steel from trucks, transferring steel to production tables, and operating a forklift; rigging work such as jacking and staking; loading steel to transfer tables to feed the production line; ensure safety compliance and maintain productive communication with coworkers. Requires experience with overhead cranes and forklift operation, ability to work in hot/cold environments, stand for up to 10 hours, basic math skills, and flexibility for overtime and Saturdays. Required Qualifications
- Must have experience with overhead crane
- Experience operating a forklift is required
- Experienced moving structural steel
- Must be able to tolerate hot and cold working environment
- Must be able to stand on feet for up to 10 hours
- Must be organized and can multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills are required
- Works in compliance with safety policies and procedures
- Must be flexible to work any schedule including overtime and Saturdays as needed
- Operate forklift as needed

- Load and unload steel from trucks
- Load steel to transfer tables to feed production line
