Job Summary
2nd Shift Manufacturing Supervisor needed at a Spartanburg, SC packaging plant. Responsibilities include overseeing daily manufacturing floor activities to meet production schedules, ensuring product quality and adherence to safety protocols, leading and mentoring a team of manufacturing workers, identifying and resolving issues to minimize downtime, coordinating with maintenance and other departments, and maintaining records and metrics on manufacturing quality and safety. Requires 3+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, familiarity with die-cutting/gluing, understanding of Lean Manufacturing, excellent communication, and ability to work overtime. Knowledge of lean principles and a focus on continuous improvement is desired.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
- prior print experience with die-cutting and gluing experience preferred
- experience in manufacturing processes and equipment
- understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles
- strong communication skills
- ability to work overtime when needed
