Job Summary
Develop new components and modules by collaborating with Design Engineering to incorporate design for manufacturing best practices, improving time to market, cost, and quality. Identify and resolve manufacturing risks to product release schedules while characterizing and monitoring new and released processes. Coordinate manufacturing plans and schedules for the development pipeline, leading yield and technical review committees to ensure supply chain continuity. Address component obsolescence, customer returns, and supplier issues through cross-functional teams focused on operational excellence. Manage the transition of products from development to internal manufacturing facilities in Chelmsford, MA, with a 2nd shift schedule (3PM-11:30PM) and shift differential.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship
- Willingness to apply for a security clearance
- BS/MS in Electrical, Mechanical, Physics, Material Science, or related engineering discipline
- 2+ Years prior experience working in a semiconductor or electronics manufacturing environment
- Experience with statistical data analysis methods and software
- Strong analytical mind with problem solving skills
- Understanding and knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Design of Experiments (DOE), 6-Sigma, and Lean manufacturing principles
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently with diverse teams, customers, and internal and external partners
- Highly motivated and passionate about their job
- 2nd Shift availability
- Eligibility for shift differential
- Ability to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls
