Job Summary
Oversee maintenance operations at the Tuscumbia Quarry by performing routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and lubricating mechanisms. Replace crusher liners and screen panels, adjust conveyor belts, and troubleshoot malfunctions to ensure safety and operational efficiency. Requires 2-3 years of mining experience with fixed plant maintenance, crusher, conveyor, and screen expertise, plus fabrication and welding skills. Work the 2nd shift (nights) with weekend availability and overtime opportunities. Starting wage includes a $3.00 night shift premium, with additional increases based on verifiable experience. Valid driver's license required.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years mining experience
- Previous fixed plant maintenance or related mining industry experience
- Experience working with crushers, conveyors, and screens
- Experience in fabricating, cutting, and welding
- Uncompromising focus on safety excellence
- Self-motivated and able to work independently, without close supervision
- Must be flexible on working hours and locations with the ability to adapt to different work environments
- Valid driver's license
