Job Summary
Ensure machinery reliability by completing preventive maintenance on injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, PLC, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems using hand tools and diagnostic instruments. Interpret equipment manuals, diagrams, and work orders to assemble, adjust, calibrate, and replace parts as needed. Adhere to plant safety policies while participating in Operational Excellence and Lean Manufacturing programs. Provide guidance to junior colleagues and perform other duties as assigned. Work the 2nd shift Monday through Friday from 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM, with overtime as required.
Required Qualifications
- high school diploma (or equivalent) or technical training
- 3-5 years of relevant experience
- ability to select and operate appropriate hand, power, and specialty tools and diagnostic equipment
- operational knowledge of automated industrial machinery and electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- familiarity with injection molding machines
- ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings and work orders
- strong problem-solving skills
- ability to communicate issues and solutions to team members effectively
- ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- ability to troubleshoot, disassemble, and reassemble manufacturing equipment
- strong written and oral communication skills
- ability to work effectively under limited supervision
- proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software
- 2nd Shift Monday - Friday, 1:30 PM - 10:00 PM
- Overtime as Required
