Job Summary
2nd Shift Maintenance Technician responsible for multi-craft maintenance to keep machines, equipment, and facilities in repair. Responsibilities include using hand and power tools, performing preventive maintenance, repairing or replacing defective parts, diagnosing mechanical problems using blueprints and manuals, ordering parts, wiring and electrical work, and ensuring environmental and safety compliance. Requires strong technical knowledge of building systems, adherence to health and safety practices, and effective planning/communication; high school diploma with vocational certification preferred; 2+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing; shift is 2nd; potential for HVAC/CMRP certifications.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting required
- Strong technical knowledge of all building systems (electrical, heating etc.)
- Knowledge of health & safety practices and regulations
- Excellent planning and leadership abilities
- An eye for detail
- Computer savvy, Information Technology training a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High school diploma
- Degree from a vocational school will be a plus
- Professional Certifications (e. CMRP or HVAC certified) are preferred
