Job Summary
Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical and mechanical problems, assemble machines, and perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently. Replace defective parts, clean lubricate machinery components, and inspect drives, motors, and belts following established checklists. Assemble, install, or repair wiring, electrical components, pipe systems, and machinery while adhering to safety, health, quality, and GMP policies. Execute Lock Out Tag Out procedures and complete scheduled work assignments including production equipment, building systems, and PLC troubleshooting. Maintain hands-on experience in plastic injection molding and robotic controls while working in a manufacturing plant environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Minimum 4 years of practical, hands on experience in an equivalent role or related field
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to use a personal computer
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk on a varying basis throughout work schedule
- Able to carry and/or lift up to 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Post-secondary education/training
- Experience working with Plastic Injection Molding
- Experience with and knowledge of Fanuc controls and/or Motoman robotic training
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Motivated, goal-driven, with a dedication to constant improvement
- Knowledge of voltages and various electrical setups
- Electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic experience
- Fabrication, welding, and layout skills
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced, multi-level, project based environment with emphasis on timelines and cost
