2nd Shift Maintenance Superintendent

Job Summary
Oversee manufacturing operations from a maintenance viewpoint; write routings/manufacturing instructions; participate in hiring, training maintenance staff, and direct supervision of maintenance supervisors; ensure successful transition of new products to production; prepare quotes and appropriation requests; participate in concurrent engineering design reviews, evaluate drawings, routings/MIs, specs and related documents; drive process improvements and address production problems to improve quality, productivity, efficiency, and uptime; assist in budgeting and project scheduling; provide direction in interviewing for engineering personnel and identify training opportunities; optimize inventory while ensuring proper parts availability and adherence to Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) processes.
Required Qualifications
- Five years’ experience in manufacturing engineering or a commensurate level of experience with related products
- High school diploma required
- Extensive knowledge in Electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics, interpersonal skills
