Job Summary
Complete daily maintenance trackers to inform supervisors during walk-throughs and perform preventive maintenance on all packaging, compounding, and warehouse equipment. Execute repairs, set-ups, fine-tuning, and troubleshooting using root cause analysis methods while training production personnel on proper equipment use. Handle special assignments and projects as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor or Manager, including conducting and reporting on reliability maintenance activities. Work rotational schedules and overtime as required to complete projects, exercising independent judgment under little to general supervision.
Required Qualifications
- Five (5) years of hands on mechanical experience with packaging equipment from either Pharmaceutical, food, packaging or another similar manufacturing environment
- Successful completion of a certification program that is accredited and recognized in the areas of mechanical engineering/mechanical design/troubleshooting etc
- Three (3) years as a Perrigo Set Up Tech
- At least two years of completed education and active enrollment in a Mechanical/Industrial/Production/Electromechanical Engineering program from an accredited university/college
- Ability to work rotational schedules as required based on business needs
- Ability to work overtime with or without prior notice
- Ability to work under little to general supervision
- Ability to exercise initiative and independent judgment
