Job Summary
Maintain and troubleshoot electrical/mechanical aspects of Material Handling Equipment, including conveyors, sortation systems, and robotics. Control and adjust positioning accuracy, scanners, cameras, and printers while repairing or replacing adjustable and wearing components. Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, PLC programs, and power distribution systems up to 480V. Serve as first-line support for critical assets like air compressors and label printers, acting as a liaison for contracted service providers. Coordinate with operational departments to execute corrective and preventative maintenance plans using the Emaint CMMS. Utilize diagnostic tools to perform Root Cause Analysis and fix systemic issues, ensuring safe work environments through strict adherence to Lock Out/Tag Out and other safety procedures. Work effectively in varied conditions, monitoring the worksite for up to 8-10 hours and operating powered lift equipment as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent PC competency and ability to use Laptop
- Familiar with wiring diagrams, symbols, and electrical measuring
- Experience with the following areas: Preventive/predictive maintenance procedures
- Blueprint and schematic reading
- Work order management
- Industrial Electrical, Controls and Electronics
- Programmable Logic Control (PLC) programs
- National Electrical Code (NEC) and Material Handling Equipment (MHE) safety standards
- Automated material handling equipment or robotic maintenance
- Degree from a technical or community college, or accredited industrial maintenance certifications (PLCs, Industrial Networks, Machine Logic, Robotics), with a focus in the Mechanical/Electrical fields
- 4+ years of experience in the Mechanical or Electrical maintenance field
