Job Summary
Operate various machines in the Assembly & Packaging department to assemble tire repairs from rubber, fabric, plastics, and other materials. Load and align rolls of materials while maintaining accurate inventory, change basic machine components like rollers and slitters, and keep machines fed with materials. Verify Work In Process and finished goods meet quality specifications, record labor and production accurately, and label, box, and package products according to standards. Follow all safety guidelines, report incidents, read ISO documents and work instructions, and cross-train on equipment as assigned. Maintain a clean and orderly work area, communicate machine problems to the team or maintenance, and participate in product improvement events. Shift runs Monday through Thursday from 3:15 PM to 1:45 AM with a pay range of $17.60 to $25.00 plus $1.75 shift differential.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to lift carry, push and pull up to 50 pounds regularly
- Ability to stand walk bend and reach for extended periods
- Basic math and reading skills
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or varying shifts as needed
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Frequently exerting or lifting up to 55 lbs. daily
- Frequently pushing, pulling and or lifting are required
- Safety shoes
- Safety glasses
