Job Summary
Operate assigned machinery under direct supervision while loading raw materials and monitoring production processes. Perform basic setups, conduct routine inspections, and troubleshoot minor issues or notify supervisors. Record production data, maintain accurate logs, and ensure a clean work area following safety protocols. Complete assigned tasks within timeframes and communicate irregularities to maintain team continuity. Adhere to established company policies and safety regulations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic mechanical aptitude
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer literacy for data entry and equipment monitoring
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems
- Proficient in reading technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with hand and power tools
- Operate a computer PC proficiency; use spreadsheets and reporting software effectively
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations
- Demonstrate regular and punctual attendance at the assigned work location
- Ability to lift up to 58 pounds
- Ability to manipulate products using force of up to 35 pounds
- Ability to ascend/descend stairs/ladders
- Ability to reach forward and overhead
- Ability to perceive the nature of sounds in a moderate to high noise level environment
