Job Summary
Operate assigned machinery under direct supervision while loading raw materials and monitoring production processes. Perform basic setups, conduct routine inspections, and troubleshoot minor issues or notify supervisors as needed. Follow safety protocols, maintain a clean work area, and record production data accurately. Complete assigned tasks within given timeframes and communicate actions or irregularities to maintain team continuity. Adhere to established policies and support continuous improvement efforts to reduce costs or increase productivity. Work in a manufacturing plant environment with moderate to high noise levels.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic mechanical aptitude
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer literacy for data entry and equipment monitoring
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems
- Proficient in reading technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with hand and power tools
- Operate a computer; PC proficiency; use spreadsheets and reporting software effectively
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations
- Demonstrate regular and punctual attendance at the assigned work location
- Ability to transport products and materials weighing up to 58 pounds
- Ability to manipulate products on pallets, using force of up to 35 pounds
- Perceive the nature of sounds and have the ability to exchange detailed information while performing job duties in a manufacturing plant where noise level is moderate to high
