Job Summary
Set up and operate cutting machines to process metal orders to customer specifications, adjusting settings and performing preventative maintenance. Utilize power equipment like saws and shears to close tolerances in a metal production environment. Load and unload trucks, perform material movement tasks using forklifts and cranes, and select, fill, and package orders while attaching bundle tags. Notice and report equipment defects. Work the 1:30pm to 10pm shift with a $27-$28/hr rate plus shift differential and bonus eligibility.
Required Qualifications
- Two years of warehouse experience
- Capable of being certified in assigned equipment (forklift, Raymond side-loader, overhead crane, etc.)
- Basic measurement competency
- Basic math competency
- Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a warehouse environment
- Strong work ethic
Desired Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- One year of work experience
- One year of equipment experience
- PC literacy
- Certified in assigned equipment (forklift, Raymond side-loader, overhead crane, etc.)
