Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) needed to provide quality geriatric nursing care. Responsibilities include administering medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring vital signs, assisting with activities of daily living, providing emotional support to patients and families, educating patients and families about health care maintenance, observing and reporting changes in condition to the supervising nurse, and collaborating with the care team to meet geriatric residents' needs.
Required Qualifications
- Must be licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) by the state
- Must have no finding in the registry concerning abuse, neglect, or misappropriation of resident property.
- Skilled at tackling numerous tasks and makes quick decisions.
- Can foster good resident and family relationships.
- Ability to effectively collaborate within a team environment.
- A passion for working with elderly residents.
