Job Summary
2nd Shift Logistical Coordinator/Feed Mill Technician focused on ingredient requisition, feeding-plant operations, load coordination, and dispatch of drivers. Responsibilities include reviewing feeds and inputs into spreadsheets, scheduling and filing, operating scale house, handling BOLs, coordinating/pairing loads, balancing driving hours, loading/unloading processes, entering ingredients/vendors/customers into the control system, operating processing equipment (receiving, batching, grinding, pelleting, loadout), and maintaining FDA reports and bio-security protocols. Requires HS diploma or equivalent, strong Excel skills, business English and arithmetic proficiency, ability to maintain records with high accuracy, confidentiality, and the ability to multitask in a high-stress environment. The role is with Aviagen in Athens, AL and involves equipment operation (forklifts, scissor lifts) and periodic plant sanitation and inventory activities. Equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
