Job Summary
2nd Shift Loader Operator at Plumstead Quarry in Doylestown, PA performs full-night-shift operation and maintenance of plant equipment, following MSHA and H&K safety policies. Responsibilities include daily greasing and oil checks on crushers and screens, keeping walkways clear, conducting guarding inspections and plant checks, inspecting screen media, reporting maintenance issues, assisting with production schedules, and suggesting efficiency improvements. Follows start/stop procedures, completes necessary paperwork, and supports the work crew as needed with a focus on safety and production quality.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (such as the GED) from an accredited educational institution OR one month of related experience and/or training
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Problem solving
- Able and willing to work a night shift schedule
- Ability to fit test & utilize appropriate PPE as needed
- Ability to meet physical requirements (movement, lifting, as relevant to job)
