Job Summary
Operate CNC laser processing machines to achieve parts per print and quality specifications in a high-precision manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include loading and programming from ERP data, performing 1st piece and in-process inspections with micrometers, calipers, optical comparators and gauges, maintaining a clean and safe work area, coordinating with supervisors and team members, and performing secondary operations as required. The role requires monitoring machine operation for malfunctions, ensuring proper gas assist per setup instructions, and contributing to tooling/ setup improvements while adhering to procedures and safety protocols. This second-shift position offers a 15% shift differential and a comprehensive benefits package.
Required Qualifications
- 1 to 3 years experience in a small device manufacturing environment as a CNC Machining Operator is preferred
- Experience operating Lasag, Kohler, Coherent/Rofin or IPG Lasers is helpful
- Education Requirements: H.S. Diploma or equivalent. Graduate of a vocational school in manufacturing/machining or engineering discipline is a plus
- Good manual dexterity and ability to use measurement and inspection tools
- Follow written and verbal instructions and capable of meeting deadlines
