Job Summary
Cut, shape, and form parts from various materials using drill presses, lathes, mills, and laser equipment per customer specifications. Read schematics and assembly instructions, verify dimensions, and mark cutting lines while ensuring parts are properly fitted and aligned. Maintain quality control standards, troubleshoot products to minimize recalls, and report malfunctions. Perform equipment preventive maintenance and changeovers as needed. Adhere to safety standards and wear required PPE including steel toe shoes and safety glasses. Work the 4:00pm to 2:30am shift Monday through Thursday and every other Friday.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Organizational skills, ensuring precision, orderliness and neatness
- Ability to handle stressful situations in a calm and effective manner
- Willingness to take on responsibilities and challenges and be a self starter
- Able to work overtime as needed
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and work extended hours
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds periodically throughout the day
- Must be able to work as a team player
- Must align with the Snap-on mission statement
- Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) which includes; Hi-Vis Vest, Steel Toe Shoes, Safety Glasses or Prescription Safety Glasses (If Applicable), Gloves (If Applicable), and Ear Plugs (If Applicable)
- Must adhere to safety guidelines
