2nd Shift Large Lathe Machine Operator

Operate and set up large CNC or manual lathes up to 84" diameter and 67' long; read blueprints and routing instructions to determine dimensions and setup requirements; select corrective cutting tools, feeds, and speeds; run production, monitor machining, and adjust to maintain tight tolerances; detect malfunctions and adjust controls; modify cutting programs as needed; verify parts meet specifications using micrometers, calipers, and a dial indicator; perform safe lifting with hoists, cranes, and forklifts; maintain clean work areas; shift schedule typically 3pm-1am, with 40-55 hour weeks; Titusville, PA.
