Job Summary
Lead and coordinate daily inventory control activities, including cycle counts and audits. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, shortages, and location issues. Ensure inventory accuracy within the Warehouse Management System (WMS). Train and support inventory clerks and warehouse associates on inventory procedures. Operate forklifts including reach truck, sit-down, and stand-up equipment as needed. Assist with product moves, replenishment, put-away, and material handling tasks. Monitor inventory transactions and ensure timely and accurate reporting. Work closely with receiving, shipping, and operations teams to maintain workflow efficiency. Support physical inventory counts and customer inventory reporting. Enforce warehouse safety standards and OSHA compliance. Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 2–4 years inventory control experience in a warehouse or 3PL environment
- Forklift operating experience preferred
- Strong experience with WMS systems specifically SAP and Blue Yonder, RF scanners, and inventory reporting
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic computer applications
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and lead a team in a fast-paced environment
