Job Summary
Perform general preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on production equipment, warehouse systems, and building infrastructure including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing. Inspect machinery, operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move inventory, and maintain common areas across the manufacturing and warehouse facilities. Apply proficient skills in electrical, carpentry, plumbing, and HVAC trades to ensure quality facilities while complying with OSHA safety regulations and safe work practices. Subject to on-call coverage shift changes.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- Advanced mechanical abilities and general facility maintenance
- Strong Electrical and PLC Skills
- 2-3 years of forklift experience
- 3-5 years of manufacturing field experience
- 3 years + experience as a Maintenance Technician
- 3 years + related experience in plastic injection molding
- Ability to read and understand electrical, hydraulic, mechanical and pneumatic prints
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Detailed oriented, logical and methodical approach to problem solving
- Good analytical skills
- Consistent daily attendance
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Computer skills for operating warehouse management system (WMS)
- Control wiring / PLC wiring
- Experience with medium tonnage plastic injection molding machines
- Knowledge of robot operations
- Ability to reflect positive attitude and disciplined work ethic
