Job Summary
Industrial Maintenance Technician on 2nd shift responsible for diagnosing and repairing mechanical failures across plant manufacturing equipment, including conveyors and pallet handling machines. Perform preventative maintenance on pneumatics, hydraulics, and electric systems; document performance and work orders in CMMS; participate in health and safety programs; ability to lift 75 pounds and operate in a dynamic, safety-focused environment. Role requires flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays with on-call availability, strong reading of mechanical/electrical schematics, and proficient use of tools and basic MS Office/related software. Emphasis on teamwork, accountability, and maintaining product quality and plant performance.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in an Industrial, Automotive, Logistics or similar environment
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays with on-call availability
- Ability to stand and walk on concrete floors for extended periods; ability to lift up to 75 pounds
- Ability to read and write English
- Ability to read and use mechanical and electrical schematics for troubleshooting (preferred)
- Ability to use an electrical multi-meter for troubleshooting (preferred)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
